Kansas Free for Arts is seeking volunteers for Halfway to Everywhere Fest 2019!
Here’s what we need:
8 loaders- Position requires strength and endurance. Preference to individuals interested in concert and event production. Loaders will assist stage managers and production crew to load bands' equipment on and off of stage. This is an all day position, 11am-11pm.
8 parking attendants- Position requires a 3-hour shift assisting with parking in VIP and artist lots near the outdoor stage areas. Volunteer will check VIP/artist credentials and guide cars into parking spaces.
4 door attendants- Position requires a 3-hour shift monitoring the entrance to the VIP and/or artist hospitality lounge.
2 vendor coordinators- Position requires greeting of vendors and showing them to allotted spot. Volunteers will coordinate with the will-call agents and continue to serve as liaison to the vendors throughout the day as needed.
2 runners- Position requires a valid driver's license and will involve picking up, delivering, going and getting anything that any part of the crew needs from off-site.
3 will-call agents- Position requires a 3-hour shift providing service at the box office (KFA Studio), including VIP welcome, artist/vendor check-in and instruction for loading in/out of venues.
8 merch assistants- Position requires a 3-hour shift of operation at merchandise booths located at both outdoor stage areas, providing help to artists in loading and selling their merchandise.
2 site ops assistants- Position will provide direct support to Hank Osterhout and crew doing all of the strange and random things that may come up at a moment's notice throughout the day. Mandatory high-fives required.
